Motor timing
Motor timing is an ESC setting that affects when the motor windings are switched — it influences smoothness, efficiency and motor heat.
Wrong timing can make motors run rough, hot or desync. Roughness shows up as motor noise in the FFT; PIDoctor makes it visible when motor harmonics are unusually strong, which can point to a timing or mechanical issue.
