Clerk (Authentication)
We use Clerk for user account management and sign-in. Provider: Clerk Inc., 660 King Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Data transferred to the USA is based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR for account holders and Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR otherwise. Details: clerk.com/privacy.
Stripe (Donation processing)
For processing voluntary donations we use Stripe. Provider (EU): Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland; parent company in the USA. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR. Details: stripe.com/privacy.
Anthropic (AI-assisted explanations)
To formulate the findings of the analysis in plain language, we use the Anthropic API. Provider: Anthropic PBC, 548 Market St, PMB 90375, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Anthropic processes the data exclusively to provide the API and does not train its models on data sent via the API. EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Uploaded flight logs and analyses
When you upload a Blackbox log we store the file and the resulting analysis under your account on our Hetzner server. The data is not passed to third parties (except the AI explanation via Anthropic mentioned above). You can delete individual analyses or your entire account at any time from "My Flights" or "Account"; the corresponding files are then fully removed within 30 days. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR.
