Soft mounting (gyro isolation)
Soft mounting mechanically isolates the flight controller (rubber grommets, soft dampers) from the frame, so less vibration reaches the gyro.
Good isolation reduces noise before it even needs filtering — the best noise filter of all. Poor mounting shows up as broadband or resonant noise in the gyro FFT, which PIDoctor makes visible.
