Rise time
Rise time is how quickly the quad reaches the commanded rate — a measure of how responsive and sharp the tune feels.
Fast rise time feels locked-in but, taken too far, brings overshoot and noise. PIDoctor measures rise time from the step response and balances it against overshoot and noise.
