Step response
The step response is how the quad's actual rotation rate reacts to a sudden change in commanded rate — the core measure of tracking quality.
From it you read rise time (how fast it gets there), overshoot (how far it overshoots) and settling. PIDoctor derives the step response per axis from the log and uses it to score tracking and suggest P/D/feedforward changes.
